The Girls U-11 team, CVU Blue 98 ( The Fireballs ) entered their first tournament as a club team. The Fireballs went undefeated in pool play; beating Simi Valley Eclipse 3-0, Crescenta Valley 2-1 and finished with a truly amazing 3-2 victory over Santa Barbara soccer club after being down 0-2 at the half!

The final championship game against a strong Santa Maria team finished at 2-2. In the dramatic PK shoot-out, the Fireballs came out on top and took home their first silverware of the season.  A great way to start the new season.........Congratulations to everyone connected with this talented team.
